All Portfolios are marked electronically, enabling us to ensure Portfolio results are returned more efficiently.
Portfolio submissions should be sent electronically via email as one Word document. Please email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Any portfolios received by Post shall be returned and asked to be submitted electronically.
Portfolio Tasks (draft & final submissions) should be submitted at your earliest convenience to enable a smooth transition into the Clinical element.

Please note that The Smae Institute will be closed on Monday 25th May for the Bank Holiday. Access to future Modules cannot be granted during this time. Instead, access will be granted on Tuesday 26th May.

This year, The SMAE Institute is raising money in support of Dementia Week (17th - 23rd May).
On Friday 22nd May, the Staff will be taking part in a number of fundraising antics in order to raise as much money as possible for the Charity: Alzheimer's Society.

Confirmation of what is included in the word count
Please note that the word count DOES NOT include the title or reference list at the end of each portfolio task, but DOES include in-text references. Essays should be an absolute minimum of 450 words and an absolute maximum of 550 words (10% eitherside of the guideline word count of 500 words). Word counts outside of these parameters will incur a 10% deduction of marks.
